Mountain Gateway Community College (MGCC) seeks a Financial Aid Technical Assistant & Administrative Support to join the Student Services team. The role handles FAFSA processing, eligibility determinations, packaging and adjustments of awards, and supports verification and SAP processes.

The position is based at the Clifton Forge campus with occasional travel to the Rockbridge Regional Center. Strong attention to detail, organizational skills and clear communication with students and staff are

Formación

• Knowledge of federal and state financial aid regulations including Title IV and FAFSA.
• Experience with financial aid processing, SAP, and student account reconciliation.
• Familiarity with student information systems and financial aid software.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and provide accurate documentation.

Responsabilidades

• Review and process financial aid documentation, determine eligibility, package and adjust awards, and administer verification and SAP.
• Support FAFSA processing, federal loans, Work-Study, and loan administration; provide general Student Services support and schedule coordination.
