Hackensack Meridian Health's JFK Muhlenberg Harold B. and Dorothy A. Snyder Schools seek a Financial Aid Counselor to advise students and families on aid programs, eligibility, and disbursement. This role requires strong communication and robust knowledge of federal and state policies governing aid.

The counselor will assist with FAFSA questions, award packages, and verification, while collaborating with Enrollment Services to support student success and access to resources.

Qualifications

• BA/BS degree with at least two years of Financial Aid experience.
• Five years experience can substitute for degree.

Responsibilities

• Counsel students and families on financial aid options, FAFSA, and eligibility.
• Explain verification, aid types, and costs of attendance.
• Generate and review award letters; verify federally and institutionally selected students.
• Assist with enrollment services and respond to questions from students, parents, and staff.
