Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution.
• Excellent customer service and interpersonal communication skills.
• Knowledge of federal and private loan programs, grants, and FAFSA processing.
• Ability to translate complex regulations into clear guidance for students.
• Strong organizational, analytical, and time-management skills.

Responsibilities

• Counsel students and families one-on-one about aid options and application procedures.
• Review aid applications, collect documents, and complete verification.
• Handle inquiries via phone, email, and in person with empathy and professionalism.
• Assist in awarding federal, state, and institutional aid and maintain accurate records.
• Explain loan programs, payment options, and debt management strategies.
