The University of Pittsburgh is seeking an Enrollment Services Manager to represent the university in new student recruitment and participate in applicant evaluations. You will engage in recruitment activities both on-campus and off-campus while building strong relationships with families, counselors, and community-based organizations.

You will travel within the United States for information sessions, college fairs, and partnerships, and contribute to special projects to achieve enrollment

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• Minimum 2 years of relevant experience in enrollment/admissions.
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills.

Job Summary

Represents the University in new student recruitment and participates in the evaluation of applicants. Participates in recruitment activities and projects, both in and out of state.

Essential Functions

• Provides a wide array of consultative services to prospective students,their families,school counselors, and CBOs, and cultivatesandmaintainskey relationships.
• Participatesin admissions committees todeterminestudent applicants’ admissibility to the University and monitors the progress of applicants.
• Travels within the territory for recruitment activities such as conducting information sessions at high schools, community colleges, college fairs, and community-based organizations.
• Participates in and coordinates activities on special projects as assigned by the supervisor toaccomplishestablishedobjectives.
• Prioritize and manage multiple responsibilities concurrently.Must be able towork independently and collaboratively as a member of a team.
• Actively involved in at least onestateACAC andlocalregional associationis strongly encouraged.

Physical Effort

Mobility with regard to travel within the United States is essential and a requirement for successful performance in this position. Valid driver’s license is required. May be required to carry a box of material (up to 50 lbs.) from car and/or from building to building or between floors.
