Anderson University seeks a Financial Aid Counselor to guide students and families on federal, state, and institutional aid, delivering courteous, professional service in person, by phone, or by email. You will assist FAFSA applications and verification, award aid, monitor disbursements, and help with related paperwork while staying current on regulations.

The Financial Aid Counselor provides guidance to students and families of Anderson University, by counseling them on financial aid opportunities, including federal, state, and institutional financial aid in a courteous and professional manner.
A college degree is preferred. Prior work experience may substitute for education and/or training. Prior experience in customer service, financial aid counseling. Mmaintain team-oriented spirit, and working in a face-paced environment is desired. Knowledge of federal and Indiana financial aid regulations, a strong commitment to higher education, and experience working with PwerFAIDS is advantageous. Applicants for this position must have excellent oral and written communication skills and be detail-oriented. Flexibility in work schedule is required with the ability to work occasional evenings and weekends during peak seasons. This is an on-campus in office position. Must meet University lifestyle expectations. Candidates should have belief in and commitment to Jesus Christ and the Christian faith as interpreted through the historic witness of the Bible and the contemporary ministry of the Holy Spirit. They should possess a vitality of Christian experience that is maturing in insight and application.
