Universal Technical Institute seeks a Financial Aid Advisor to guide students through the financial aid process with clarity, compassion, and care. You’ll support both prospective and current students to ensure they have what they need to succeed.

You will educate on FAFSA, scholarships, and aid options, collaborating with Admissions and Student Services to maximize student satisfaction and timely enrollment.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required; some college coursework preferred.
• 3 years in customer service or sales; 2 years in Financial Aid highly preferred (if stated).
• Experience with federal aid concepts (FAFSA, scholarships) is beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Guide students through the financial aid process to ensure they have what they need to succeed.
• Deliver excellent service with clarity and empathy, helping students navigate financial hurdles.
• Explain federal aid, FAFSA, and scholarships to help informed decisions.
• Collaborate with Admissions and Student Services to support student satisfaction and success.
• Assist in education and empowerment around aid options and timelines.

• Collaborate for Success: Work closely with Admissions, Student Services, and other teams to enhance student satisfaction and success.

Quaifications

Education / Experience

• Education: High School Diploma or GED required; some college coursework preferred
• Experience: 3 years in customer service or sales; 2 years in Financial Aid highly preferred
• Title IV: experience preferred

Skills

• Excellent customer service and communication skills
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
• Proficiency with computer applications (Word, Excel, SharePoint)
