Job summary

Mutual of Omaha Insurance Co. invites driven individuals to join its Accelerator Program as Financial Representative Trainees. You will learn to sell Individual Insurance products and build a holistic financial practice through mentorship, self-study, and hands-on projects.

The program advances you toward becoming an independent Financial Advisor within ~24 months, with a structured training path and supportive benefits including a 401(k) plan and vacation time.

Qualifications

• Must obtain insurance licenses prior to starting, with up to two attempts allowed for Life and Health exam.
• Pass CRD/FINRA background check at hire and ongoing.
• Securities licensing required within 24 months of entry into program.
• Must be highly self-motivated and results-oriented.
• Must be able to travel up to 50% within the local metro area.

Responsibilities

• Develop skills to provide holistic financial advice to clients.
• Gain direct sales experience marketing Individual Insurance products to clients.
• Prospect using personal networks, events, and social media.
• Understand product offerings and their features and benefits.
• Oversee content, proposals, and paperwork flow through field and Home Office.
