Job summary

Mutual of Omaha Insurance Co. is launching an Accelerator Program for Financial Representative Trainees in Phoenix, AZ. The program combines self-study, hands-on projects, and mentorship to equip you to sell Individual Insurance and build a personal financial practice.

You will complete licensing, gain direct sales experience, and work toward becoming an independent Financial Advisor within about 24 months. A 401(k) with company contributions is included, plus paid time off and holidays.

Qualifications

• Licenses required: insurance licenses before starting; up to two attempts for Life and Health.
• Pass CRD/FINRA background check at hire and ongoing; securities licensing within 24 months.
• Willingness to travel up to 50% within local metro area.
• Bachelor's degree preferred but not required.
• Sponsorship for employment not required.

Responsibilities

• Develop skills to provide holistic financial advice to clients.
• Gain direct sales experience marketing Individual Insurance products.
• Cultivate prospecting skills via networks, events, and social media.
• Acquire in-depth understanding of product offerings and benefits.
• Oversee content, proposals and paperwork through field and Home Office.
