Job summary

Mutual of Omaha Insurance Co. seeks Financial Representative Trainees for its Accelerator Program. You will participate in a structured trainee experience to learn how to sell Individual Insurance and build a holistic financial practice.

The program combines self-study, hands-on projects, and mentorship to prepare you for independent advising with career growth in the financial services industry.

Qualifications

• Obtain insurance licenses prior to starting, with up to two attempts for Life and Health.
• Pass CRD/FINRA background check at hire and ongoing.
• Securities licensing within 24 months of entry into the program.
• Be highly self-motivated and results-oriented, working independently or in a team.
• Travel up to 50% within the local metro area and have a valid U.S. driver's license.

Responsibilities

• Develop holistic financial advice skills through classroom discussions, goal setting, and progress reviews.
• Gain direct sales experience marketing Individual Insurance products to clients.
• Cultivate prospecting skills via research, networking, and community events.
• Acquire in-depth product knowledge and explain features and benefits.
• Oversee document flow and underwriting process across field and Home Office.
