Job summary

Raymond James offers the Advisory Mastery Program (AMP) to train new advisors for a successful career in financial planning. Trainees gain education, mentorship, and hands-on experience across technical and sales skills to build a client-focused practice.

After the first year, AMP Advisors work towards meeting production targets that contribute to company revenue while helping clients achieve their financial goals.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree from four-year college or university preferred with a minimum of 4 years of working experience (sales or business)
• SIE required or ability to obtain within 4 months; Series 7 & 66 or ability to obtain within 4 months
• Life, Health and Variable Annuity licenses or ability to obtain within 6 months

Responsibilities

• Develop client pipeline through prospecting, networking and community involvement
• Manage full scope of client relationships and evaluate financial needs and investment opportunities
• Recommend investment products and services based on client profiles and time horizons
• Develop a book of business aligned with AMP goals and assets under management
• Complete program training and obtain mandatory licenses within prescribed timeframes
