Job summary

Edward Jones is seeking to train and empower a new Financial Advisor to build a personal practice within the firm’s network of branches across the U.S. and Canada. The role offers paid training, a five-year salary supplement, and the potential to earn commissions as you grow assets under management.

You will work with a branch team and regional support to help clients meet long-term financial goals, while developing your own advisory practice in a respected, privately-owned firm.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree is strongly preferred or equivalent experience in securities/financial services.
• Financial services and/or sales experience.
• Financial services registration, licensing, or certification.
• Professional and/or military career progression.

Responsibilities

• Build relationships to create new clients via face-to-face and virtual sourcing strategies.
• Deeply understand clients' needs to create personalized, comprehensive strategies.
• Oversee branch processes to ensure high-quality, streamlined client experience.
• Engage the branch team to monitor and adjust the branch business plan.
• Create a highly engaging environment in the branch built on trust and accountability.
