Job summary

Edward Jones in California seeks an aspiring financial advisor to build a personal practice with the support of a branch team and a home-office network. You’ll help clients pursue long-term goals through tailored investment strategies while completing licensed training.

The program includes paid training and a supplemental starting salary for up to five years, plus commissions as you grow assets under management, within a client-first culture and strong community focus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience in securities/financial services.
• Financial services and/or sales experience.
• Licensing required: SIE, Series 7, and Series 66; FINRA registrations within three months.
• State insurance licenses may be required.

Responsibilities

• Build relationships to create new clients via face-to-face and virtual sourcing strategies.
• Deeply understand clients' needs to develop personalized strategies.
• Oversee branch processes to ensure high-quality client experience.
• Engage the branch team to monitor and adjust business plans.
• Create a engaging environment in the branch based on mutual trust and accountability.
