Job summary

Aspire Talent Solutions is seeking an Accounting Supervisor/Senior Financial Accountant for a manufacturing environment in Terre Haute, IN. You will supervise two accountants and oversee AR and general accounting while coordinating month-end closures with other departments.

The role involves preparing financial statements, performing analyses, tax support, inventory counts, and assisting with audits and capital projects.

Qualifications

• Experience as Accounting Supervisor or Senior Financial Accountant capable of supervising two accountants.
• Manufacturing background preferred; candidates from banking or healthcare considered.

Responsibilities

• Assist in timely and accurate production of financial statements and supervise accounts receivable and general accounting.
• Coordinate month-end activities between departments to ensure proper cut-off procedures.
• Prepare financial statements.

Duties:

• Assists in the timely and accurate production of financial statements and is responsible for the supervision of the Accounts Receivable function and general financial accounting.

Supervision

• Will supervise two personnel.
• Will report to the divisional Controller which is local.

Requirements:

• Experience as an Accounting Supervisor or Senior Financial Accountant that could supervise two accountants.
• This is a manufacture so ideal candidate would come out of supervision but would consider others such as banking, healthcare etc.
