Job Juncture in Terre Haute, IN is seeking an Accounting Supervisor to oversee two accountants and supervise timely financial statement production. The role supports manufacturing operations and coordinates month-end close across departments, with opportunities to contribute to budgeting, analysis, and audits.

The ideal candidate has supervisory experience in accounting and is open to relocation through the company’s relocation program.

Qualifications

• Experience as an Accounting Supervisor or Senior Financial Accountant that could supervise two accountants.
• Ideal candidate would come from manufacturing but candidates from banking, healthcare, etc. will be considered.

Responsibilities

• Assist in timely preparation of financial statements for the organization.
• Coordinate month-end activities between departments to ensure proper cut-off procedures.
• Prepare financial statements.
• Perform financial analysis.
• Conduct account reconciliations.
• Assist in tax-related activities.
• Participate in inventory counts.
• Oversee capital project accounting.
• Assist in quarterly reviews and year-end audits by external auditors.

• Assists in the timely and accurate production of financial statements and is responsible for the supervision of the Accounts Receivable function and general financial accounting.
