Job summary

CFS is seeking a Finance Supervisor to steer budgeting, reporting and audit coordination within a growing manufacturing environment. You will mentor an accounting professional and partner with a VP of Finance, driving GAAP-compliant processes and financial insights.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance required.
• 7+ years in accounting/finance with strong GAAP and financial reporting knowledge.
• Experience supporting audits, budgeting and month-end processes.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and develop the Payroll Accounting Specialist while supporting day-to-day finance operations.
• Lead the annual budgeting process, financial reporting activities, and ongoing performance analysis.
• Serve as the primary contact for external auditors and banking relationships.
• Coordinate financial audits and ensure GAAP compliance and strong internal controls.
• Collaborate across departments to improve financial processes and support business decisions.

Target Compensation: $90,000 to $100,000

Key Responsibilities For The Finance Supervisor

• Supervise and develop the Payroll Accounting Specialist while supporting day-to-day finance operations.
• Lead the annual budgeting process, financial reporting activities, and ongoing performance analysis.
• Serve as the primary contact for external auditors and banking relationships, including BMO and other financial partners.
• Coordinate financial audits and ensure compliance with GAAP and internal controls.
• Collaborate across departments to improve financial processes and support business decision-making.

Qualifications For The Finance Supervisor

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
• 7+ years of accounting or finance experience with strong knowledge of GAAP and financial reporting.
• Experience supporting audits, budgeting, and month-end financial processes.
• Prior leadership or supervisory experience is a plus but not required.
