Job summary

Atlantic Group in Greenwich, CT seeks an Accounting Manager to oversee the firm's accounting function, driving the close, reporting, controls, and system enhancements. Reporting to the Controller, you will build scalable processes and advance automation as the business grows.

You will lead a team, ensure SOX compliance, and partner with FP&A on budgeting and performance reporting, while improving data flows and using AI-enabled tools to accelerate the close.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of progressive accounting experience.
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end close and reporting cycle under U.S. GAAP.
• Oversee general ledger activity, reconciliations, journal entries, and intercompany accounting.
• Enhance internal controls, support SOX compliance, and coordinate audit requirements.
• Own and optimize the ERP environment, including system integrations, reporting, and data flows.
• Partner with FP&A and leadership on budgeting, financial analysis, and reporting.
• Drive automation and leverage AI-enabled tools to streamline accounting processes and accelerate the close.
• Lead, develop, and provide technical guidance to accounting staff across Finance.
• Advise management on accounting matters and communicate financial results and KPIs.

Reporting to the Controller, this role will help establish an efficient in-house accounting operation, build scalable processes, and improve the use of technology and automation as the business grows.

Key Responsibilities:
