Job summary

Plante Moran is seeking an outsourced financial advisory consultant to support clients on an ongoing basis. You will contribute to accounting solutions across close, reconciliations, and financial reporting, helping clients optimize processes and controls.

The role involves collaboration with multiple practice areas, including audit, tax and wealth management, and requires a detail‑oriented, analytical mindset with strong communication skills. Travel may be required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, economics, finance, or related field.
• Academic success with a minimum GPA of 3.0.
• Preferred: On track to complete degree credits to sit for the CPA exam with goal of CPA license.

Responsibilities

• Monthly financial close.
• Financial account reconciliations.
• Financial statement analysis and fluctuation observations and recommendations.
• Preparation of balance sheets and income statements.
• Preparation of sales/payroll/property tax filings.
• Preparation and filing of Forms 1099.
• Identify and recommend improvements to accounting processes and systems.
