You will collaborate within a team to deliver reliable reporting and process improvements, while pursuing CPA credentials.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Monthly financial close and close contribution to client deliverables.
• Financial statement analysis and fluctuation observations with recommendations.
• Prepare balance sheets and income statements for clients.
• Prepare and file sales, payroll, property tax filings.
• Prepare Forms 1099 and related compliance tasks.
• Evaluate business and accounting processes and provide improvement recommendations.
• Collaborate with other practice areas including audit, tax, and wealth management.

Job Responsibilities

Your role

As an outsourced financial advisory consultant, you’ll work in a team to provide accounting assistance to clients on an ongoing, recurring basis. You’ll be instrumental in serving our clients through accounting solutions that havea direct impact on our client’s overall business processes and reporting.Your work will include, but not be limited to:

Accounting and financial advisory services:

• Monthly financial close


• Financial statement analysis and fluctuation observations and recommendations


• Preparation of balance sheets and income statements


• Preparation of sales/payroll/property tax filings


• Preparation and filing of Forms 1099

Evaluation of business and accounting processes and procedures:

• Recognize and provide recommendations for improvements to accounting processes and systems


• Interact with other practice areas within management consulting and other practice areas including but not limited to audit, tax, wealth management and consulting.

Qualifications

• Detail-oriented leader with problem solving, communication, critical thinker, organizational, technical and analytical skills.


• Bachelor’s degreein accounting,economics, finance,or related field.


• Academic success (a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0).


• Preferred: On track to complete the requisite degree and supporting credits to sit for the CPA exam, with the goal of successfully obtaining your CPA license

This is an exempt position that may require some local, national, and occasional international travel.
