Job summary

Qualifications

• Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Accounting.

• Experience with inventory and cost accounting, financial statement prep, ERP systems, and advanced Excel.

Responsibilities

• Maintain general ledger and perform balance sheet reconciliations.

Our client, a well-established and highly respected manufacturing organization in Central Wisconsin, is seeking a Manufacturing Financial Accountant to join its finance team. This role offers the opportunity to work closely with executive leadership while supporting the financial operations of a stable, quality-focused manufacturing business.

The Manufacturing Financial Accountant will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, supporting month-end and year-end close activities, preparing financial statements, performing account reconciliations, and analyzing manufacturing costs. This position partners with Operations, Purchasing, and Management to understand production activity, inventory movement, and financial performance drivers across the business.

Key responsibilities include general ledger accounting, balance sheet reconciliations, inventory accounting, fixed asset management, financial reporting, variance analysis, standard costing support, and maintaining accurate manufacturing cost records. The role will also support external audits, process improvement initiatives, and management reporting.

Qualified candidates will possess an Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Accounting and at least three years of accounting experience, preferably within a manufacturing environment. Experience with inventory, cost accounting, financial statement preparation, ERP systems, and advanced Excel skills is highly desired.
