Job summary

Accelerate Talent Group in Browntown, WI is seeking a Senior Accountant for a full-time, onsite role. You will partner with plant leadership to ensure accurate financial reporting, analysis, and operational support.

The ideal candidate has at least 3 years of manufacturing accounting experience, strong Excel and ERP skills, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment while meeting deadlines.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Business Administration, or related field or equivalent experience.
• 3+ years of accounting experience (manufacturing experience strongly preferred).
• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office including Excel.
• Experience with ERP systems.
• Solid understanding of financial reporting, reconciliations, and audit support.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and maintain weekly cash flow forecasts.
• Produce and distribute monthly financial reports related to plant performance.
• Support month-end and year-end close, including journal entries and balance sheet reconciliations.
• Maintain fixed asset and tooling ledgers.
• Assist with and participate in internal and external audits.
• Participate in quarterly physical inventory processes; Support accounts receivable activities, including customer invoicing and cash application.
• Provide backup support for accounts payable, including vendor invoices and payment processing.
• Partner cross-functionally to ensure accuracy, timeliness, and efficiency in financial operations.

This role is a key member of the plant finance team, working closely with leadership to ensure accurate financial reporting, analysis, and operational support. This position reports to the Controller. Senior Accountant Responsibilities
