TransRe in New York, NY is seeking a Financial Accountant to support financial reporting, management reporting, budgeting, and related projects in a small team. This role will assist with quarterly and annual close activities and the preparation of financial statements.
The position is located in our New York City office with a hybrid work schedule: 3 days in the office and 2 days remote. A Bachelor’s degree in accounting and strong Excel skills are required, with GAAP knowledge and variance
The Financial Accountant will support financial reporting, management reporting, overhead expense analysis, budgeting, and related projects within a small team environment. This role will assist with quarterly and annual reporting deliverables, monthly and quarterly close activities, and the preparation and review of financial statements and expense budgets.
TransRe is supportive of an agile work schedule, which may differ based on individual roles, the local office’s practices and preferences, marketplace trends, and TransRe’s business objectives. This position is located in our New York City office and is eligible for a hybrid work schedule with 3 days in the office per week, and 2 days remote.
In addition to base salary, TransRe offers a comprehensive benefits package, paid time off, and incentive pay opportunity. The anticipated annual base salary range in New York for this position, exclusive of benefits, paid time off, and incentive pay opportunity is $80,000–$110,000. This range is an estimate and the actual base salary offered for this position will be determined based on certain factors, including the applicant’s specific skill set and level of experience.
