We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Accountant to join a dynamic Finance team. Reporting to the Controller, this role is responsible for managing complex accounting activities, ensuring the accuracy and integrity of financial records, and delivering insightful financial reporting and analysis.

Key Responsibilities
- Own the end-to-end monthly and annual close processes, ensuring accuracy and timely completion
- Prepare, review, and post complex journal entries (accruals, prepaid amortization, depreciation, payroll allocations)
- Perform and review detailed balance sheet reconciliations, including cash, fixed assets, intercompany, and liabilities
- Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements (P&L, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow)
Compliance, Audit & Controls
- Research and document technical accounting matters (e.g., revenue recognition, lease accounting)
- Serve as the primary liaison for external audits, preparing workpapers and supporting documentation
- Maintain and enhance internal controls over financial reporting, including SOX compliance initiatives
Financial Analysis & Projects
- Conduct variance analysis against budget, forecast, and prior periods; present insights to leadership
- Support budgeting and forecasting processes in partnership with Finance leadership
- Identify and implement process improvements, leveraging automation and best practices
- Act as a key point of contact for cross-functional financial inquiries (e.g., Sales, Operations)
Qualifications
Required
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- 3-5 years of progressive accounting experience
- Strong knowledge of US GAAP and full-cycle accounting
- Advanced Excel/Google Sheets skills (pivot tables, lookups, complex formulas)
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills
Preferred
- CPA or CMA designation (or in progress)
- Experience with Workday or similar ERP systems
- Familiarity with IFRS
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to translate financial concepts for non-finance stakeholders
- Ability to work independently, manage competing priorities, and thrive in a fast-paced environment
