Guarantee Trust Life Insurance Company (GTL) is seeking a Financial Accountant to join its Financial Accounting team in Glenview, IL. The role focuses on TPA accounting, treaty reviews, and mortgage investment activities, with opportunities to drive process improvements and automation.

The ideal candidate holds a accounting or finance degree and has 2–3 years of insurance accounting experience, plus proficiency in ERP systems (PeopleSoft a plus) and MS Office.

Responsabilidades

• Handle Third Party Administrator (TPA) accounting and reporting for multiple TPAs.
• Review treaties and ensure accounting/regulatory items are properly implemented.
• Record mortgage investment activity and prepare related financial reports.
• Lead cross-functional process improvements and system enhancements.
• Reconcile general ledger accounts and perform monthly close analysis.
• Support audits and prepare schedules for annual/quarterly statements.
