Job summary

Phoenix Family is seeking a Specialized Resource Navigator-Financial Access Navigator to support residents of affordable housing by addressing financial barriers that affect employment, education, and mobility. This is a full-time, on-site role working at various Phoenix Family communities and reporting to the Program Manager.

The navigator will partner with the CEO project team, arrange workshops, provide outreach and enrollment, and track participant progress while coordinating with community

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Three or more years of relevant experience in nonprofit/community outreach preferred.
• Lived experience or experience working with people living in poverty preferred.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate with CEO project team and community resources to address financial access barriers to employment.
• Provide navigation, education, outreach, and enrollment with participants at Phoenix Family communities; develop materials with the CEO team.
• Maintain regularly scheduled hours at Phoenix Family-supported housing communities.
• Build relationships with community partners and financial institutions to expand resources and support.
• Present workshops and participate in trainings and as assigned.
• Keep timely, accurate records of interactions and outcomes.
