Job summary

Sysco Northeast RDC in Ankeny, IA is seeking a Finance Associate to support OpCo operations, handle local payments, deposits, petty cash, and document flow. You will collaborate with Sysco Business Services to resolve exceptions and ensure accurate processing.

Responsibilities include processing deposits, scanning documents, maintaining petty cash, and handling will call transactions while ensuring regulatory compliance and accurate reporting.

Qualifications

• High School diploma required.
• 2+ years of finance/administration experience focused on document flow and transactional processing preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform deposits of all cash and manual payments to the OpCo.
• Scan backup support for checks, remittances, and other documents.
• Manage petty cash fund and replenishments.
• Scan invoices and receive packets at the OpCo.
• Report issues within quality control and provide documentation to SBS processing teams.
• Work with quality control to ensure claims are submitted for supplier credits.
• Maintain and report regulatory compliance (e.g., USDA, food safety documentation).
• Handle will call transactions including employee purchases.
