Job summary

EY is seeking a Manager in the Financial Services Subledger practice to lead complex finance transformation and technology modernization for insurance, banking, asset management, and alternative investments. You will guide data migration, reporting, and operating model enhancements across client engagements.

You will manage multi-disciplinary teams, partner with executives, and drive design and implementation of investment accounting platforms and subledger modernization programs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Information Systems, Business Analytics, Economics, Engineering, Computer Science, or related field.
• 6+ years of experience supporting finance transformation, investment accounting, subledger technology, or related engagements.
• Experience leading project workstreams and managing teams delivering complex client engagements.
• Experience defining business, accounting, data, and reporting requirements and translating them into tech-enabled solutions.
• Strong understanding of financial services processes, accounting operations, data flows.
• Experience with financial products including payments, deposits, loans, securities, derivatives, insurance contracts, and reinsurance.
• Experience leading data migration, reconciliation, testing, or financial systems implementation activities.
• Experience collaborating with senior stakeholders in client-facing environments.
• Willingness to travel approximately 25%-50%.

Responsibilities

• Lead finance transformation and subledger programs across the financial services sector.
• Manage project workstreams and teams through the delivery lifecycle from strategy to deployment.
• Partner with client executives, stakeholders, and technology teams to drive solution design and program execution.
• Identify opportunities to improve operating models, finance processes, controls, and technology capabilities.
• Define requirements and oversee data migration, testing, and validation across implementations.
• Guide BI and reporting design, dashboards, and data analytics to support regulatory and management reporting.
• Coach junior team members and support practice growth initiatives.
• Oversee training, change management, and client adoption during deployments.
