Job summary

EY is seeking a Manager in the Financial Services Subledger practice to lead complex finance transformation and technology modernization initiatives for insurance, banking, asset management, and alternative investments.

You’ll work with client leadership to deliver investment accounting platform implementations, subledger modernization programs, data transformation, and finance operating model improvements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related field.
• 6+ years experience in finance transformation or related engagements.
• Experience leading project workstreams and managing teams.
• Experience defining business, accounting, data, and reporting requirements.
• Strong understanding of financial services processes, accounting operations, and data flows.
• Experience with financial products including payments, deposits, loans, securities, derivatives, insurance contracts, and reinsurance.
• Experience leading data migration, reconciliation, testing, or financial systems implementation activities.
• Experience collaborating with senior stakeholders in a client-facing environment.
• Willingness to travel approximately 25%-50%.

Responsibilities

• Lead complex finance transformation and technology-enabled accounting initiatives across financial services clients.
• Manage project workstreams and teams through all delivery lifecycle phases.
• Partner with client executives to drive solution design, decisions, and program execution.
• Identify opportunities to improve operating models, finance processes, controls, and technology capabilities.
• Define business, accounting, data, and reporting requirements and translate them into technology-enabled solutions.
• Oversee data migration, testing, and validation activities across implementations.
• Guide reporting, analytics, and BI initiatives and develop data marts and dashboards.
