Job summary

RSM US LLP's Management Consulting - Finance Performance practice seeks a Senior Associate to deliver strategic advisory to enhance finance function effectiveness. You will work with clients across industries to ensure timely, budget-conscious, and client-focused engagements.

Responsibilities include optimizing finance processes, defining target operating models, and leveraging PowerBI/Tableau and automation tools to modernize service delivery. Travel up to 30% may be required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Technology or related discipline.
• Minimum 2 years in a large organization, professional services firm or CPA firm.
• Experience advising Finance organizations on the above business processes.
• Experience in Finance Transformation, Business Process Improvement, Shared Services or Technology Enablement.

Responsibilities

• Project Execution: help optimize finance organization elements and deployment of finance tech.
• Finance Function Expertise: understand procure-to-pay, order-to-cash, source-to-report, acquire-to-retire, forecasting and planning.
• Quality Delivery: ensure work meets time, scope, budget and client expectations.
• Digital Delivery: leverage PowerBI, Tableau and automation tools to modernize service delivery.
• Project Monitoring: assist with progress, risk, milestones and outcomes.
• Business Development: participate in internal and external BD activities and networking.
• Cross-Selling: identify cross-border opportunities across lines of business.
• Industry Research: support prospecting and client targeting.
• Project Execution: contribute to project completion and solutions for client challenges.
• Service Development: help create new services and deliverables for the changing finance environment.
• Mentorship: coach and develop junior staff and peers; aid recruitment and retention.
• Communication: liaise with client employees and executives to foster relationships.
