Job description

Atlassian is looking for a Finance Transformation Manager with a Finance and Accounting background and Finance Transformation experience to join our Finance Transformation team. You will manage transformation resources, oversee project deliverables, coach more junior team members to deliver high-quality work products, support programs and change management activities, and deliver back-office finance transformation projects across Quote to Cash (QTC), other Finance Processes, and Value Realization Monitoring.

You will join our expanding Finance Transformation/TMO function and help establish industry-leading finance and accounting processes for a high-growth SaaS company. You will succeed by collaborating with teams, working across the portfolio of Finance transformation projects to help us realize our future state vision for Finance.

You will have experience delivering change and supporting Finance Transformation programs within the SaaS industry. This role requires specific experience in a program management capacity for Finance Transformation, including managing resources, serving as a local contact, and leading program and change management activities.

This is a remote position. To help our teams work together, you must coordinate with global teams, including in the United States, with primary work occurring on IST. Our office is in Bengaluru, but we offer flexibility for eligible candidates to work remotely across India.

Responsibilities

1. Support our multi-year Finance transformation program roadmap, including long-term and short-term projects.
2. Be accountable for Finance Transformation deliverables, including project/change management, current state analysis, future state design/documentation and implementation, requirement definition, data baselining, return on investment and business case analysis, dashboard reporting, and other delivery support needs (e.g., testing and training).
3. Be the single contact for local transformation efforts; manage local resources, coordinating with global Finance Transformation teams to adequately support projects and provide coaching to maintain high quality.
4. Build relationships within Finance and other team members from business (Sales, Channel, Legal) and technology teams (Technical Program Managers, Engineers).
5. Develop project plans, while maintaining a portfolio of projects which are managed from a status, milestone, RAID, and change management perspective to balance near-term priorities with long-term strategic goals.
6. Research industry trends and leading practices in Finance to apply in project work.
7. Support the design of new solutions, thinking across boundaries with a whole systems approach to design with linkages between people, process, and technology in mind.

Your background

1. Degree in a relevant discipline (Finance, Business, Accounting, IS, or Analytics).
2. 8+ years of progressive Finance experience working on Finance Transformation programs.
3. 4+ years of experience managing resources, overseeing team deliverables, and providing feedback on design work products to maintain quality.
4. Experience in consulting (Big 4 or similar) or SaaS industry in Quote to Cash, Accounting, Finance Operations, Business Partnering, or Finance Strategy/Special Projects.
5. Experience across Finance Transformation areas Quote to Cash (QTC), other Finance Processes, and Value Realization Monitoring.
6. Program management experience in large-scale Finance Transformation, with knowledge of project management methodologies and change management approaches.
7. Proficiency in G-Suite (Docs, Sheets, and Slides).
8. Experience with Atlassian suite of solutions.
9. Experience with Oracle Fusion or reporting (e.g., Tableau) differentiating.
10. Outstanding collaboration skills to build relationships and provide ongoing clarity.
