The Autodesk Global Consulting Delivery team is seeking a talented and dynamic individual to join our Americas Consulting team as a Principal Consultant. As a key member of the Consulting Delivery team within Autodesk's Enterprise Customer Success organization, the successful candidate has experience defining and deploying innovative strategies and solutions to leverage digital design and delivery as a competitive advantage, leading transformational change at the enterprise level, and building stronger, more effective organizations.

Key Focus Areas for Principal Consultants for Infrastructure:

1. Working with Autodesk's largest customers to define innovative Infrastructure design, engineering, construction, and management strategies and solutions to ensure the greatest possible value from their Autodesk investment.
2. Collaborating with Autodesk account teams to define desired customer outcomes, strategies, solutions, and customer engagements to deliver those outcomes.
3. Partnering with the Autodesk Consulting Project Management team to ensure exceptional delivery against the Customer Success Plan.
4. Shaping the Autodesk Consulting service offerings and their delivery methods.
5. Interfacing with thought leaders within Autodesk and beyond to support and shape Autodesk's product offerings.

Responsibilities:

1. Be a trusted business partner to customers and internal Autodesk teams.
2. Develop and ensure delivery of innovative business and technology solutions that have a strategic impact on Autodesk customers.
3. Lead facilitated workshops with Autodesk customers to identify solution opportunities and drive alignment on solution paths.
4. Lead or assist in creating high-quality civil engineering-specific design, construction, and operational management deliverables for customers.
5. Define and track the value of solutions delivered to customers, and document the impact of customer investment in Autodesk Consulting.
6. Lead or participate in the development of new and expanded offerings as part of a comprehensive consulting delivery portfolio.
7. Build the Autodesk Consulting brand by demonstrating industry thought leadership, such as presenting at Autodesk University and other events, publishing position papers, etc.
8. Lead project delivery efforts, ensuring team members perform at the highest quality and professionalism.
9. Mentor junior staff in customer engagement techniques, change management, strategic thinking, workshop facilitation, and communication.
10. Advise on project estimation and participate in business development activities.

Minimum Qualifications:

1. Bachelor of Science in Architecture, Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field.
2. At least 7 years of hands-on experience in the Civil Engineering / Infrastructure industry, with a focus on digital design, engineering, and delivery solutions.
3. Proven excellence in strategic thinking, innovation, program management, change management, and communication.
4. Ability to facilitate customer workshops and leverage various techniques.
5. Initiative and ability to drive decisions and resolve issues.
6. Experience working with diverse technical, sales, and project management teams.
7. Ability to work independently to meet deadlines.
8. Solid knowledge of software development lifecycle and structured project management.
9. Excellent written and oral communication skills, including workshop facilitation and effective presentations.
10. Ability to simplify complex topics for non-technical audiences.
11. Willingness to travel up to 50%, including internationally.

Preferred Qualifications:

1. Strong knowledge of Infrastructure design, engineering, construction, and management industry practices, focusing on areas like Water/Wastewater, Transportation, and Facility Management.
2. Advanced experience in workflow development between architects, designers, engineers, contractors, and owners.
3. Proficiency with Autodesk products such as BIM 360, Revit, Civil3D, Navisworks, Infraworks, etc.
4. Experience developing and maintaining a design and engineering solution portfolio.
