Job summary

Citigroup Inc. is seeking a Lead Business Architect to define target state business architecture for core finance domains and to drive the transformation program.

You will model end-to-end processes, data flows, and controls, while collaborating with Finance, Front Office, and Operations to ensure alignment with strategic goals. You will lead a team of business architects, translating strategic objectives into deliverable blueprints and working closely with Technology to ensure fit-for-purpose

Qualifications

• 10+ years in Solutions Architecture or related senior role within financial services.
• Experience modeling end-to-end business processes at scale.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple activities and changing priorities under pressure.
• Bachelor’s degree or higher; Masters preferred.

Responsibilities

• Define target state architecture for key finance domains (Accounting Engines, GL, Close).
• Map and analyze current state processes to identify gaps and opportunities for automation.
• Create detailed business blueprints, data flows, and control designs.
• Champion data substantiation and reconciliation frameworks from a business perspective.
• Collaborate with Finance, Front Office, and Operations to align requirements with strategic goals.
• Translate business architecture into functional requirements for technology teams.
• Lead and mentor Senior Business Architects to foster process excellence.
