Job summary

Adobe is seeking a Manager, Business Architecture & Systems Lifecycle to lead the business side of system and process build frameworks within the finance and accounting transformation portfolio. You will lead a two-person team responsible for System/Process Architecture and System Retirement, ensuring architecture remains clean as programs like Q2C evolve.

This role blends people leadership with architectural stewardship.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent; MBA, PMP, or Lean/Six Sigma a plus.
• 5+ years transforming finance/accounting functions or architecture.
• Prior people-leadership experience including mentoring and developing individuals.
• Experience documenting and maintaining process workflows and translating them into artifacts for delivery teams.
• Working knowledge of enterprise architecture principles — decommissioning and dependency management; retirement as an architecture decision.

Responsibilities

• Lead a two-person team covering System/Process Architecture and System Retirement; set goals and build a high-performing practice.
• Balance workload across concurrent transformation programs and deploy the team where needed.
• Represent business architecture in leadership forums (FTO/FTCO).
• Own the business lens on system/process architecture for finance modernization (Q2C across CPQ, CLM, CRM).
• Document and maintain L1/L2 workflows reflecting current and future state for transformation programs.
• Partner with program leadership, process owners, and technical teams to translate business requirements into architecture artifacts.
• Identify gaps or overlaps early; drive resolution with business and technical owners.
• Own legacy system retirement; ensure dependencies, data and interfaces are accounted before decommissioning.
• Maintain a living view of the finance/accounting landscape to prevent environment conflicts.
