Brown & Brown is seeking a Financial Business Transformation Lead - Projects to join our growing team in the United States. This role bridges Finance, Operations, and Technology to drive end-to-end financial solutions and serves as a strategic partner in transformation initiatives.

You will lead cross-functional business analysis, shape scalable future-state solutions, and mentor analysts while ensuring compliance with accounting principles and timely reporting cycles.

Qualifications

• College degree required.
• 7-10 years' business or leadership experience.
• Excellent verbal and writing skills and strong math.
• Familiar with managing full life cycle software development projects.
• Understanding of programming concepts.
• Able to communicate technical information to a wide range of teammates.
• Expertise in accounting/finance (premium accounting, GAAP).
• Confident interacting with stakeholders at all levels.
• Willing to travel 5-10%.

Responsibilities

• Lead business analysis across cross-functional initiatives (finance, MGA operations, premium accounting).
• Shape future-state solutions with focus on scalability and financial integrity.
• Influence prioritization of work based on value, risk, and urgency.
• Mentor analysts (formal or informal).
• Ensure solutions align with accounting principles and reporting accuracy.
• Support month-end and quarter-end reporting cycles with proactive problem solving.
• Collaborate in meetings with Business, vendors, leadership, and Project Team.
