Job summary

Brown & Brown in Daytona Beach, FL, seeks a Senior Director, Finance Business Partner - Technology to drive financial strategy for the Technology organization. You will partner with the CITO and Tech leadership to guide forecasts, budgets, and investments that create measurable business value.

You will lead annual planning, long-range FP&A, and governance across infrastructure, cybersecurity, cloud, AI, data, and digital initiatives, ensuring cost transparency and alignment with Brown & Brown's

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in finance or related field
10+ years of progressive Finance leadership experience with executive stakeholders
Experience with technology, cloud, FinOps, vendor management, and portfolio governance
Strong executive presence to influence senior leaders and drive decisions
Curiosity about technology and ability to translate technical drivers into financial terms

Responsibilities

Serve as primary Finance partner to CITO and Technology Leadership Team and participate in strategic planning and governance
Lead annual budgeting, forecasting, and long-range planning across Technology
Advise on forecasts, budgets, cost containment, and accounting treatments for technology investments
Lead AI Value Office: develop business case standards, dashboards, and value reporting
Provide financial leadership on technology investments, transformation, and platform modernization
Prioritize and govern investment portfolios with clear financial analyses and risk assessments
Maintain transparency of Technology spending across labor, software, cloud, and infra
Support vendor relationships, renewals, and sourcing with financial risk assessment
