Job summary

Moderna Therapeutics seeks a Director of Finance Transformation to shape Moderna's finance future. You will lead the R2A transformation across FP&A, Accounting, and Tax, building an integrated roadmap that modernizes planning, forecasting, and management reporting.

You will drive processes, technology and data modernization, deploy AI and automation, and ensure governance, with senior stakeholder alignment in a fast‑growing biopharma environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business, Information Systems, or related field.
• 10+ years of progressive experience in Finance transformation, FP&A, Accounting, corporate finance, finance systems, data and analytics, or related roles.
• Experience with SAP, Oracle EPM, and other enterprise Finance technology and data environments.
• Demonstrated experience leading complex, cross‑functional transformation initiatives from strategy and design through implementation and adoption.
• MBA, CPA, CFA, or relevant advanced degree (preferred).

Responsibilities

• Develop and lead an integrated transformation roadmap across the R2A value chain, spanning FP&A, Accounting, and Tax.
• Identify opportunities to simplify, standardize, automate, and redesign Finance processes and ways of working while preserving ownership and controls.
• Lead cross‑functional Finance transformations from opportunity identification through adoption and benefits realization.
• Own the integrated Finance transformation portfolio, communicating priorities, sequencing, and milestones.
