Job summary

The Andersen Corporation seeks a Business Process Analyst to support transformation initiatives with GAAP controls and medium-size projects. You will analyze current processes, define future state, and drive improvements within a cross-functional team.

Key responsibilities include partnering with stakeholders, leading up to five-person teams, and applying PMI/PMBOK methodologies to deliver measurable business value across finance and operations in the Minnesota area.

Qualifications

• BS in Accounting, Finance, MIS, Business Admin or related field.
• 7-10 years of related experience and/or training.
• 4-7 years project experience, or equivalent.
• Understanding of GAAP with 5 years of analytical and project or change management experience, or equivalent.
• Experience in implementing financial application packages and process changes.
• Advanced presentation skills and the ability to express project concepts in business terms.
• Wor ks independently with minimal supervision.
• PMI/PMBOK and business analytics, process design experience or certification.
• Excellent listening, verbal and written communication skills.
• Change and conflict management skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead medium-sized change initiatives (up to 5 people) from ideation to stabilization.
• Identify process gaps and define future state with GAAP controls.
• Improve and transform business processes leveraging ERP and PM practices.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to agree on scope, deliverables, and trade-offs.
• Provide guidance to teams and escalate issues when needed.
• Maintain subject matter expertise on current state processes and systems.
• Apply PMI/PMBOK methodologies and analytics to projects.
