Job summary

Hillside Fellowship is seeking a Finance Team Lead to guide the Finance Department in budgeting, forecasting, and performance analysis. You will translate complex financial data into actionable insights for church leadership and drive strategic financial planning.

The role requires strong FP&A experience, leadership ability, and a commitment to Hillside's mission within a nonprofit/church context. This is a full‑time, on‑site opportunity with collaborative cross‑functional engagement.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in finance, economics, business or related field required.
Minimum five years of experience in FP&A, budgeting or related strategic finance function.
Two years of supervisory or team leadership experience required.
Experience presenting financial information to executives or senior stakeholders preferred.

Responsibilities

Lead the annual budgeting process with department leaders and prepare operating and capital budgets.
Develop and maintain financial models, forecasts, and scenario analyses to guide leadership decisions.
Prepare dashboards and reports translating complex data into clear narratives for leaders and board materials.
Oversee cash flow forecasts, liquidity monitoring, and key performance indicators.
Coach and develop Finance team members and manage department priorities and resources.
