Job summary

First Place for Youth is seeking a Director of Financial Planning & Analysis to lead budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis across a portfolio of approximately $30M in annual revenue. This role partners with the CFO, oversees monthly reporting, and leads the selection and implementation of a new budgeting/FP&A system integrated with the general ledger (Sage Intacct).

You will work hands-on to build contract-level budgets, briefing the CFO on variance trends and driving process

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in accounting or a related field; 4+ years of FP&A experience.
• Progressive FP&A experience including budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis.
• 5+ years of managerial experience.

Responsibilities

• Lead the annual budget process and mid-year forecasts with the CFO.
• Build financial models to support long-range planning and board presentations.
• Monitor monthly performance vs. budget and flag risks/opportunities to the CFO.
• Develop dashboards and management reporting for the executive team.
• Translate financial data for non-finance colleagues and partners.
