Job summary

Align Technology, Inc. in California is seeking a Sr. Manager of Finance Systems & Reporting to lead enterprise finance data platforms and reporting initiatives.

You will partner with Finance to define roadmaps, own data governance, and deliver scalable analytics with SAP Datasphere, Azure Data Lake, and BI tools. You will mentor a team of analysts, drive UAT, manage cross-functional projects, and ensure timely, accurate financial reporting that supports strategic decision-making in a fast-paced

Qualifications

• Requires Bachelor’s degree in CS, Information Technology, or a related field.
• 12+ years of experience in Data loading and Monitoring systems to support the Finance organization.
• Strong understanding of financial reporting, FP&A, close processes, and management reporting.
• Hands-on experience with SAP Datasphere for data modeling, data warehousing, integration, and governance across SAP and non-SAP landscapes.
• Strong understanding of SAP RTR business processes, hands on experience working with FI-GL, COPA, AR/AP.
• Should be a self-starter who is able to work with minimal direction and exercises considerable latitude in determining objectives and approaches to assignments.
• Hands-on experience working with Onestream planning system or similar planning platforms such as Anaplan, Planful.
• Hands-on experience with SQL and object-oriented (VB.Net, C#) coding experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead collaboration and development of the finance data platform with data accuracy.
• Build and maintain reporting frameworks, dashboards, and self-service analytics.
• Own core Finance data platforms including SAP Datasphere and Azure Data Lake.
• Supervise the Finance Systems & Reporting team and mentor staff.
• Translate complex requirements into scalable solutions and drive adoption.
• Facilitate alignment of reporting across Finance teams and standard KPI definitions.
• Lead and support UAT for new functionality, upgrades, integrations.
• Identify gaps and work with IT/business to implement solutions.
• Design new products and assess risks in reporting.
• Build relationships with IT and Finance stakeholders.
