Job summary

Faire is seeking a senior leader to head Finance Systems & Data, partnering with the CFO to modernize architectures, scale data, and drive AI-enabled finance workflows. You will guide architecture, governance, and vendor relationships while building a high-performing team.

You will own the multi-quarter roadmap, ensure public-company standards, and collaborate across Finance, Accounting, Eng, IT, and Legal to deliver impact with rigor and speed.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience in Finance Systems or Business Systems with progressive leadership scope.
• Player-coach orientation — operates as PM, architect, and coach.
• Deep technical expertise with NetSuite and the broader finance SaaS portfolio.
• Proven track record driving AI/automation projects end-to-end in a finance context.
• Experience preparing for or operating in a public-company environment.
• Experience hiring and managing technical talent.
• Marketplace/fintech experience strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Own the Finance Systems Architecture and Roadmap for Faire's finance tech stack including NetSuite and related modules.
• Drive AI enablement across the finance organization from close automation to reporting and workflows.
• Oversee the Finance Data function ensuring data integrity across metrics.
• Lead cross-functional partnerships with Eng/Data Platform and manage vendors and contracts.
• Manage and develop a team of 5+ and nurture high performance talent.
