Job summary

Appian in Tysons, Virginia, is seeking a Finance ERP Systems Lead to own and optimize core finance platforms such as NetSuite ERP, Anaplan, and Zone Billing/CPQ, driving accurate financial reporting and streamlined month-end closes.

You will enforce SOX-compliant controls, partner with internal audit and external auditors, and collaborate with Accounting, FP&A, Sales Ops, and IT to translate system changes into measurable business outcomes.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience configuring Finance ERP systems in a corporate setting.
• Deep understanding of SOX controls and change management for financial apps.
• Experience with core accounting processes: GL, revenue, billing, AR, FP&A.

Responsibilities

• Lead configuration and optimization of NetSuite ERP, Anaplan, Zone Billing/CPQ for accurate reporting and streamlined closes.
• Enforce SOX-compliant controls across financial systems and coordinate with audit teams.
• Manage changes with testing, documentation, and stakeholder communication.
