BSI USA, the U.S. arm of BSI Global Logistics, seeks a Finance Supervisor to own the finance and accounting of the U.S. entity and act as the finance partner to local management. Based near Los Angeles, you will manage AP/AR, GL, month-end close and revenue/cost accruals across freight services.

You will work closely with HQ in Mandarin and English, supporting CDTFA, payroll, and intercompany reporting while building robust dashboards and forecasts for the business.

Competenze

• 5+ years of progressive accounting experience with full-cycle ownership.
• Working knowledge of U.S. GAAP, California sales and use tax, and IRS record-keeping.
• Advanced Excel skills (XLOOKUP, SUMIFS, pivots).
• Business-level English and Mandarin fluency.
• Freight forwarding background; CPA in progress considered plus; CargoWise or similar knowledge a plus.

• Own full-cycle accounting under U.S. GAAP including AP/AR, GL, reconciliations, month-end and year-end close.
• Manage shipment-level revenue and cost accruals for air, ocean, customs brokerage, and trucking.
• Handle California CDTFA returns and payroll support (941, DE 9/DE 9C, W-2, 1099-NEC); prepare reporting packs for external firm.
• Perform intercompany reconciliations and monthly group reporting to HQ.
• Produce monthly P&L by customer/service/location; conduct job-margin analysis to surface losses, leakage and billing errors.
• Lead budget and rolling forecast, DSO/DPO, cash flow, and KPI dashboards.

We're hiring a Finance Supervisor to own the finance and accounting of our U.S. entity — and to be the finance partner to local management, not just the person who closes the books.

BSI USA (Best Services Int'l Freight USA INC) is the U.S. arm of BSI Global Logistics, a Shenzhen-headquartered forwarder with 50+ offices and 1,500 people worldwide. From Torrance and our Carson warehouse next to the ports of Los Angeles and Long Beach, we run air and ocean freight, customs brokerage, warehousing and cross-border trucking.

What you'll own:

• Full-cycle accounting under U.S. GAAP: AP/AR, GL, bank and credit card reconciliations, month-end and year-end close
• Shipment-level revenue and cost accruals across air, ocean FCL/LCL, customs brokerage and trucking
• California sales and use tax (CDTFA) returns; payroll support (941, DE 9/DE 9C, W-2, 1099-NEC); reporting packs for our external accounting firm
• Intercompany reconciliation with group entities and monthly group reporting to Shenzhen
• Monthly P&L by customer, service line and location; job-margin analysis to surface loss-making shipments, rate leakage and billing errors
• Budget and rolling forecast, DSO/DPO and cash flow, and KPI dashboards you can actually explain

What you need:

• 5+ years of progressive accounting experience with full-cycle ownership
• Working knowledge of U.S. GAAP, California sales and use tax, and IRS record-keeping
• Strong Excel (XLOOKUP, SUMIFS, pivot tables); hands-on with QuickBooks, Sage or NetSuite
• Business-level English and fluent Mandarin — you'll use both every day with HQ and overseas agents
• No CPA required. Freight forwarding background, CargoWise or Power BI are a plus; if you're pursuing a CPA, we'll support it
