Job description

We are looking for a Finance Manager – U.S. Operations for a project-based industrial construction and engineering company in Diamond Bar, CA. This role will own day-to-day U.S. finance and accounting operations, support executive leadership with financial insights, and help build scalable processes in a fast-growing, modular construction environment.

Job Logistics

Location: Diamond Bar, CA

Travel: Occasional project-site travel (Typically one week at a time)

Work model: Onsite with potential future hybrid/remote flexibility

Tools/Tech: QuickBooks, NetSuite, SAP Business One, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics

Day to Day Responsibilities

• Manage monthly and year-end close and financial reporting
• Oversee AR, AP, payroll, expenses, and cash management
• Build budgets, forecasts, and cash flow models
• Support project cost tracking, margins, and revenue recognition
• Coordinate with CPAs, auditors, banks, and tax advisors
• Strengthen internal controls, approval workflows, and reporting discipline
• Partner with CEO/COO on financial planning and risk identification

Requirements

• 5–8+ years of U.S.-based finance or accounting experience
• Experience as Finance Manager, Accounting Manager, or Senior Accountant
• Strong knowledge of U.S. GAAP and close processes
• Experience working independently with external financial partners
• Fluent in Mandarin Chinese and professional English

Pluses

• Project-based construction, EPC, or engineering background
• Multi-entity or cross-border finance experience
• CPA or equivalent certification

Compensation

Compensation: $90,000 to $140,000. Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including skills, experience, and education. Benefit packages for this role will start on the 1st day of employment and include medical, dental, and vision insurance, as well as HSA, FSA, and DCFSA account options, and 401k retirement account access with employer matching. Employees in this role are also entitled to paid sick leave and/or other paid time off as provided by applicable law.
