BNY Mellon’s Office of the CFO – Finance & Strategy Internship offers a 10-week, hands-on experience within high-performing finance teams. Interns support financial planning, reporting, and strategic initiatives across business lines, gaining insight into capital management and financial operations at a global financial institution.

Ideal candidates are analytical, detail-oriented, pursuing an undergraduate degree with a 3.0+ GPA, graduating Dec 2027 or May 2028, and not requiring visa

Qualifications

• Enrollment in a 4-year undergraduate degree program (business/tech preferred).
• Graduating Dec 2027 or May 2028 (U.S.).
• Minimum GPA 3.0 or better.
• No sponsorship required for employment visa status (now or in the future).

Responsibilities

• Support financial planning and analysis, reporting, market and competitor analysis, balance sheet analysis, capital management, and strategic planning.
• Conduct data analysis and provide insights into business performance, risks, and opportunities for efficiency.
• Collaborate across lines of business and corporate functions on projects supporting decision-making and process improvement.
• Assist with financial and regulatory reporting and gain exposure to financial operations of a global institution.
