Job summary

BNY's 2027 Summer Internship Program in the Office of the CFO - Finance & Strategy offers a 10-week, early-career experience for high-potential undergraduates. You'll be immersed in a global financial institution and work on real projects that influence planning and performance.

During the internship you will assist with financial planning and analysis, regulatory reporting, balance sheet analysis, market and competitor analysis, and strategic initiatives.

Qualifications

• Enrollment in a 4-year undergraduate degree program with a strong focus on business-related and/or technology-related majors preferred.
• Graduating in Dec 2027 or May 2028 (US).
• Minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0 or better.
• Does not require sponsorship for employment visa status (now or in the future) in the country where applying.

Responsibilities

• Support teams that help maintain BNY’s financial integrity, support sustainable growth, and drive operational excellence across the firm
• Assist with work related to financial planning and analysis, reporting, market and competitor analysis, balance sheet analysis, capital management, and strategic planning.
• Conduct data analysis and help interpret financial information to provide insights into business performance, risks, and opportunities for efficiency
• Collaborate across lines of business and corporate functions on projects that support decision-making, process improvement, and the use of emerging financial technologies
