Job summary

BNY Mellon is seeking participants for its 2027 Summer Internship Program in the Office of the COO. The internship offers hands-on exposure to operational strategy, governance, and execution discipline at a global financial services leader.

As an intern, you will support day-to-day activities, conduct research on processes and metrics, and assist with project tracking and documentation. The program runs for roughly 10 weeks and includes structured mentorship and networking opportunities.

Qualifications

• Enrollment in a 4-year undergraduate degree program with a strong focus on business-related and/or technology-related majors preferred.

Responsibilities

• Support day-to-day activities and strategic initiatives within the Chief Operating Office (COO).
• Conduct research and analysis on operational processes, performance metrics, and business priorities.
• Help track action items, risks, milestones, and deliverables across ongoing projects.
• Identify opportunities for process improvement and operational efficiency.
• Assist with documentation of business procedures, workflows, and governance materials.
• Support AI initiatives by researching use cases, documenting opportunities, and helping teams understand where adoption could improve processes or decision-making.
