Responsible for driving technical accounting compliance, financial and operational internal controls, process simplification, and operational excellence to deliver accurate financial reporting and analysis. Job Description

Roles and Responsibilities

1. Responsible for general accounting, policy application, and process administration across all cycles, including inventory, revenue recognition, receivables/payables, intercompany, etc. Understand and interpret applicable standards, SOPs, and process maps to deliver globally competitive financial services.
2. Expand knowledge of theories, practices, and procedures within the discipline to execute policies and strategies; continue developing functional knowledge and skills.
3. Maintain a basic understanding of key business drivers; use this understanding to accomplish tasks. Recognize how your team's work integrates with other teams and contributes to overall objectives.
4. Possibly make decisions within a defined framework, resolving issues that require good judgment and knowledge within established procedures. Consult with senior team members for issues outside of defined policies.
5. Develop strong interpersonal skills, especially for customer-facing roles, building customer relationships and acting as the interface between customers and GE. Explain technical information clearly to others.

Required Qualifications

• Experience with Oracle and PDF editing tools (preferably Nitro).
• Ability to deliver results using strong analytical, time management, and prioritization skills.
• Adopt a continuous improvement and problem-solving mindset, applying Lean tools.

Desired Characteristics

• Strong oral and written communication skills, with the ability to document, plan, and execute programs.
