Job Description Summary

Responsible for driving technical accounting compliance, financial and operational internal controls, process simplification, and operational excellence to deliver accurate actual financial reporting and analysis. Impacts the quality of your own work and the work of others on the team. Focused on executing standard enabling activities and providing advice within established policies and routines. There may be some flexibility to adjust task sequences based on changing situations.

Roles and Responsibilities

• Manage general accounting and policy application & process administration for all cycles including inventory, revenue recognition, receivables/payables, intercompany, etc. Understand and interpret applicable Enterprise Standards, SOP, and Process Maps to deliver globally competitive financial services.
• Expand knowledge of theories, practices, and procedures within your discipline to execute policies and strategies; continue developing functional knowledge and skills.
• Gain a basic understanding of key business drivers; use this understanding to accomplish your tasks. Recognize how your team's work integrates with other teams and contributes to overall objectives.
• Make decisions within a defined framework with some autonomy. Resolve issues requiring good knowledge and judgment within established procedures. Consult senior team members for issues outside of policy or parameters.
• Develop strong interpersonal skills. For customer-facing roles, build strong customer relationships and serve as the interface between customer and GE. Explain technical information clearly to others.

Required Qualifications

• Experience with Oracle and PDF editing tools (preferably Nitro).
• Ability to deliver results through strong analytical, time management, and prioritization skills.
• Maintain a mindset focused on continuous improvement and problem-solving through Lean tools.
