Job summary

Ryder System, Inc. is seeking a Finance Segment Manager to lead financial analysis, planning, and data mining across business segments. You will support FP&A, coordinate with multiple departments, and deliver timely, actionable analyses of business initiatives for regional/segment reporting.

The role emphasizes detailed analysis, collaboration, and agility in a fast-paced environment, with a focus on improving financial performance and governance across assigned accounts.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting and/or Finance is required.
• Master's Degree in Accounting and/or Finance is preferred.
• 6+ years in Accounting/Finance or related field is required.
• Advanced Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) skills are required.
• Workday and Adaptive Insights experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manage the financials of assigned accounts/product lines, including monthly close, P&L review, and journal entries.
• Consolidate, analyze, and present financial data; coordinate with Operations, Finance, Accounting, IT, and Sales; brief senior leadership.
• Lead various projects across locations and mentor/coach junior staff.
• Conduct periodic audits to ensure proper controls are in place.
