Job summary

Akamai Technologies, Inc. offers a Finance Intern role as part of its 3-year Associate Finance Development Program (AFDP). You will work with mentors and gain exposure to business line finance, commercial finance, corporate FP&A, and more.

The internship teaches forecasting, reporting, and analytics with a focus on data-driven decision making. The program runs for 12 weeks in a hybrid setting, starting in May, with 40 hours per week.

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in a Bachelor's program in a business-related field and planning to graduate between December 2027 and June 2028.
• Prior internship experience in financial analysis or a related area.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.

Responsibilities

• Assist with monthly, quarterly, and ad hoc financial reporting and in-depth customer or product analysis.
• Develop annual budgets, quarterly forecasts and outlooks, and resource planning analysis.
• Identify process improvement opportunities and help implement changes with the team.
